CONAMI (Comisión Nacional de Microfinanzas) is involved in the regulation and promotion of the microfinance industry, in order to strengthen its competency, development, and social performance.




ASOMIF promotes and strengthens the development of micro, small and medium entrepreneurs through the provision of microfinance, and business and social development services.



The initiative to create a network of Microfinance in Central America came in July 1999. The Central American and the Caribbean Microfinance Network founded it with the aim of promoting the microfinance industry and its impact on social and economic development in Central America, as well as to influence and promote political, and regulatory standards that benefit and strengthen microfinance sector in Central America.


MixMarket (Microfinance Information Exchange, Inc.) is a non-profit organization aiming to strengthen the microfinance sector with objective data and analysis.
