MiCrédito acknowledges the partnership of MEDA supporters who have invested over US $1 million in early stage high-risk capital. This capital was used to get MiCrédito to a level where financing is available from various international microfinance funds that require established performance records before they can participate. MiCrédito appreciates the faith that these supporters have put into its management and board of directors. As well, MiCrédito is thankful for their commitment to microfinance.

MiCrédito needs more capital in order to implement its ambitious plan of achieving a portfolio of $US10,000,000 by 2010. Interest earning loans of varying sizes can be made to MiCrédito. Such loans will enable more small entrepreneurs to receive credit in order to start or grow their businesses.
